Getting to Colorado

If you're coming from out of town, it would be easiest to fly to Denver. There is a slightly closer airport in Eagle County, but flights are expensive and sporadic.

If possible, it would be good to arrive in Colorado as early as possible, and spend a night in Denver or Boulder before heading up to Keystone. This will help you acclimate to the alititude.

Getting to Keystone

Keystone is about 90 miles from Denver International Airport.

The easiest way to get to Keystone would be to rent a car for the weekend at DIA, and drive up. There are lots of things to see within a short drive of Keystone, and a car would be convienent

If you don't want to rent a car there are a few shuttle services such as Colorado Mountain Express which will take you from the Airport to Keystone. This should cost around $100 round trip.

There are free shuttles within Keystone, and the free Summit Stage bus around Summit County
